Elmira Pentecostal Assembly is more than a church—it’s a family. We value meaningful relationships where people are encouraged, equipped, and supported.
Through Circles (small groups), ministries, and shared life, we grow stronger together. As a church family, we pursue faith, hope, and love in unity.

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is God’s written revelation of who He is and His saving purposes for humanity and all creation. It is true, trustworthy, and our final authority for faith and life.
The same Holy Spirit who inspired Scripture guides us in understanding and applying it today. God still speaks through His Word—forming us, correcting us, and leading us into truth.
(Psalm 119; John 20:30–31; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God—distinct yet perfectly united in nature, purpose, and glory.
God is holy, loving, just, and worthy of all worship. He is not distant. He is relational by nature and invites us into fellowship with Himself. The Father planned redemption, the Son accomplished it, and the Holy Spirit applies it—drawing people to Jesus and transforming lives today.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4–6)
God the Father is the loving Creator and sovereign King over all. He is carrying out His plan to redeem and restore the world—bringing salvation to those who trust Him and justice where evil remains.
His purposes cannot be stopped. His kingdom will never end. All things will ultimately be brought under His rule.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 1:9–10; Psalm 103:19; Daniel 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:24–28)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent by the Father to reveal Him and bring us back to Himself. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He is fully God and fully human.
Through His sinless life, powerful teaching, miracles, sacrificial death for our sins, and bodily resurrection, Jesus defeated sin and death. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father and continues His work through His Church.
(Luke 1:34–35; John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 1:3)
Holy Spirit is God present and active in the world today. He gives life, convicts of sin, and draws people to repentance and faith in Jesus.
When we trust in Christ, the Spirit lives within us—assuring us that we are God’s children, sanctifying us, and empowering us for Christ-like living and service. Jesus continues to baptize believers in the Holy Spirit, empowering them to proclaim and demonstrate the good news of the Kingdom. The gifts of the Spirit are given to build up the Church and bear witness to Christ.
(John 16:8; Romans 8:11,14–16; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11)
Salvation is available to all through the loving, redemptive work of the Triune God. Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for us—taking our sin upon Himself so that we might be made right with God.
By God’s grace, those who repent and place their faith in Jesus are forgiven, reconciled to God, born again, and transferred into His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit seals believers, assures us of our salvation, and empowers us to live faithfully.
(John 3:16; Romans 10:9; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:13–14; Colossians 1:13–14)
We believe that the saving work of Jesus includes healing and freedom. Through His atoning sacrifice, provision was made not only for forgiveness of sin but also for restoration—spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental.
God still heals. We pray in faith, trusting His power and submitting to His wisdom. Healing is both a present reality and a foretaste of the complete restoration that will come when Christ returns.
(Isaiah 53:4–5; Psalm 103:2–3; Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–16; 1 Peter 2:24)
Our great hope is the return of Jesus Christ. He will come again to complete the restoration He began—raising the dead, transforming the living, judging evil, and renewing all creation.
Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. God will dwell with His redeemed people, and there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain.
Until that day, we live with expectancy, faithfulness, and hope. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Philippians 2:10–11; Romans 8:19–21; Revelation 21:3–4; Revelation 22:20)
If this is your first time visiting, we would love to have you! We want you to have the best experience possible, and so here are answers to some questions you may have.
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30am. We suggest you arrive 10 minutes before the service to give you time to find a seat. If you have kids this is also the time to sign them in for their programs.
When you arrive our friendly greeters will welcome you at the door. They can help you get answers for any questions you may have, and show you where to sign your kids in. Our service is usually about 70 minutes long, and includes live worship music, announcements and a 20-30 minute sermon.
At EPA we are family, and just like any family we all wear different things. On a typical Sunday morning you will see people wearing everything from casual clothes such as jeans and a t-shirt to dressier clothes such as dresses and suits. The most important thing to us is that you feel welcome and comfortable, so wear whatever makes you the most comfortable.
Definitely not! We do have an offering box, however it is meant for our regular attenders to give as part of their worship. You’re free to give if you would like to, but there is no pressure at all. Feel free to ignore the box and walk right by.
We run programs for kids age 0 - Grade 4 every Sunday morning. Each class is run by trained volunteers who have gone through a screening process that includes a vulnerable sector check. Once you sign your kids in they will stay with you in the service for the first three songs and announcements. They will be dismissed following the last announcement where they can then walk straight out to the lobby and follow their teacher downstairs.
We are very excited to have completed an elevator renovation to our building in the Fall of 2023. Our church building is now fully accessible. We have accessible parking spots at the front and the back of our building equipped with push button automatic doors. We also have separate wheelchair accessible washrooms on both floors with the exemption of an adult change table. Our sanctuary is also easily adaptadable for wheelchair space. If you require any assitance or accomodations please ask our greeters as you come in and they would be happy to assist you. We'd love to hear from you if you have any further questions.
