Have Questions? We Have Answers!

If this is your first time visiting, we would love to have you! We want you to have the best experience possible, and so here are answers to some questions you may have.
When should I arrive on a Sunday morning?

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30am. We suggest you arrive 10 minutes before the service to give you time to find a seat. If you have kids this is also the time to sign them in for their programs.

What can I expect during my visit?

When you arrive our friendly greeters will welcome you at the door. They can help you get answers for any questions you may have, and show you where to sign your kids in. Our service is usually about 70 minutes long, and includes live worship music, announcements and a 20-30 minute sermon.

What should I wear?

At EPA we are family, and just like any family we all wear different things. On a typical Sunday morning you will see people wearing everything from casual clothes such as jeans and a t-shirt to dressier clothes such as dresses and suits. The most important thing to us is that you feel welcome and comfortable, so wear whatever makes you the most comfortable.

Will I be expected to donate money?

Definitely not! We do have an offering box, however it is meant for our regular attenders to give as part of their worship. You’re free to give if you would like to, but there is no pressure at all. Feel free to ignore the box and walk right by.

Do you have something for kids during the service?

We run programs for kids age 0 - Grade 4 every Sunday morning. Each class is run by trained volunteers who have gone through a screening process that includes a vulnerable  sector check. Once you sign your kids in they will stay with you in the service for the first three songs and announcements. They will be dismissed following the last announcement where they can then walk straight out to the lobby and follow their teacher downstairs. For more information about our kids programs click here.

Is your church accessible?

We are very excited to have completed an elevator renovation to our building in the Fall of 2023.  Our church buidling is now fully accessible.  We have accessible parking spots at the front and the back of our building equipped with push button automatic doors. We also have separate wheelchair accessible washrooms on both floors with the exemption of an adult change table. Our sanctuary is also easily adaptadable for wheelchair space. If you require any assitance or accomodations please ask our greeters as you come in and they would be happy to assist you. We'd love to hear from you if you have any further questions.
