For the past four years we have had the opportunity to bless our community with a live outdoor Christmas pageant. Hundreds of people have been able to enjoy the show, which includes live animals and free cookies afterwards. The show is a depiction of the Biblical story of Jesus' birth.

There is no cost to attend the show. We do however set up donation buckets for those who wish to donate, and we also collect non-perishable food. Through these avenues we have been able to give back to our community by giving the food to our local food bank and a portion of the donated money to other community charities.

Below are some commonly asked questions and answers:

What are the dates for this year?

Unfortunately due to the ongoing concerns surrounding Covid-19, we are not able to hold the pageant this year. Our hope is to be back again next year December 2022.

How many performances do you do each night?

Each night we put on the same performance three times. The show times are 6:00, 6:45 & 7:00pm.

What time should I arrive?

If there is a specific show time you wish to attend we suggest you come 20-30 minutes before the show is scheduled to start. We will do our best to see that you are able to attend the show time you want, however once the seating is filled or the show has started we can't let more people in. If you come early or need to wait for another show time don't worry you won't have to wait outside in the cold! We have set aside our church sanctuary as a warm place to sit and wait until we are ready for you to take a seat for the show.

Where do I park?

Because of the number of people attending the show, we have designated our church parking lot for those who need accessible parking. We ask that everyone else park across the street at the PIB parking lot (49 Industrial Drive). We provide transportation by bus between that parking lot and our church.

Do I need to bring my own seating?

No, there is no need to bring your own chairs. We have a combination of bench and bleacher seating for over 500 people each show. If you have questions or concerns about seating please speak to one of our Greeters or Ushers when you arrive.

Are the performances dependent on the weather?

Unless it's sever weather that would be unsafe to travel or perform in, the show will go on. We suggest you dress according to the weather to make sure you have the best experience possible. If we do need to cancel a show it will be posted here on our website as well as on our Church's Facebook page (Elmira Pentecostal Assembly).
