Pastor Matthew Wiebe
Pastor Matthew was raised in a Christian home in Leamington, Ontario. In May 2017 he married his wonderful wife, Kayla Wiebe, who shares the same aspirations as he does. In April 2018, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Master’s College & Seminary, enabling him to be hired at Elmira Pentecostal Assembly. From a young age he has felt the call of God in his life, wanting to help families raise up the next generation in community with one another, as well as with God. His hobbies include playing sports, exploring the great outdoors, watching documentaries, and being an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche.
Pastor Kim Lapier
Pastor Kim grew up attending church and felt a call into ministry at a young age. After finishing her degree at Summit Pacific College she then worked as a Children’s Pastor at her home church in Sarnia for 8 years. Because meeting Jesus at a young age shaped her life in such a significant way, Pastor Kim is passionate about seeing kids become disciples of Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit go out and reach a lost generation for Him. In her spare time you can find Kim baking, watching cheesy Hallmark movies or wrestling with her three adorable nephews.
Pastor Kayla Wiebe
Pastor Kayla was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She received the call of God on her life to pursue full-time youth ministry and enrolled in Master’s College & Seminary. She is incredibly honoured and excited to serve Elmira Pentecostal Assembly and the surrounding community. She loves coffee almost as much as she loves seeing teenagers tap into the full potential that God has placed on their lives. Besides coffee shop hopping, her hobbies include brewing kombucha, crocheting blankets and antiquing.
